Water, Stone and Light— The Patience of Seeing
This series is about the meeting between water, stone and light — and the patience required to see how these elements transform one another. Along the coast, light reflected from the sea, the sky and the wet surfaces of rock can change an ordinary landscape into something intense and almost otherworldly.
Some of the photographs were made at night, in moonlight, starlight or the faint light of the surroundings. In a few images, I also used a flashlight to reveal details hidden in darkness.
For me, these images are not only about nature, but about perception. Light does not simply illuminate the landscape; it changes how we experience it. Water, stone and darkness become part of the same quiet transformation.
